THE MİA
THE MIA KALKAN tells the story of a franchise brand brought to life in Kalkan through Aslan’s approach to design and production.
Aslan shaped the design of the entire branch. Bespoke elements, including the stone tables and sofas, were made directly on site rather than in the workshop. Every detail was completed with careful craftsmanship to form a coherent whole.
The finished space combines design and comfort, offering visitors a welcoming setting to spend time, socialise and enjoy a distinctive experience.

VILLA DESTINY RESTORATION
In this project, approximately 200-year-old chestnut timber sourced from the Black Sea region was used for the ceiling cladding. A whitewash finish highlighted the natural grain and the marks of time. A large piece of chestnut from the same region became an epoxy table, while the beds were designed specifically to complement the ceilings.
An old door brought from an Ottoman house in Konya and kept in the Aslan office for many years was restored as the villa’s entrance door. An old Seljuk star was also restored and installed on the ceiling of the entrance area.
A bespoke outdoor seating area was made on site, extending the interior design language into the outdoor spaces.
Brought back to life through Atölye Aslan’s craftsmanship, these pieces gave Villa Destiny a distinctive character rooted in the past.

VILLA NISA RESTORATION
Villa Nisa began with a request for a bespoke sofa set and developed into a fully individual design concept for the whole villa. That first piece gradually shaped the direction of every living space.
From bedrooms, beds and headboards to the television unit, each detail was designed and made to complement the others. The same harmony was extended outdoors, creating a coherent design throughout the villa.
Completed with Atölye Aslan’s approach to individual clients and spaces, Villa Nisa became a distinctive home with a consistent design language in every area.

VILLA MIA VITA RESTORATION
Villa Mia Vita was a small but particularly enjoyable project. From the coffee table to the kitchen and dining table, each element was designed and made with carefully coordinated colours and materials.
Integrating the stone details in the kitchen with wood gave the space a distinctive character. Complementary colours and textures created a warm, harmonious design throughout the project.

ASLAN ANTIQUES
Sometimes it is rewarding to look beyond completed projects and discover the stories inside the workshop. ASLAN ANTİK brings together selected photographs of Atölye Aslan’s antique restoration and woodworking.
From an eight-pointed Seljuk star and reclaimed timber from historic houses in Konya to carved columns and a handmade sculpture carved from a single trunk, every piece carries its own story.
We share these workshop moments in which patience and skilled craftsmanship bring old timber back to life while preserving the traces of its past.

VILLA OASIS RESTORATION
At Villa Oasis, the texture of natural stone meets the warmth of wood and the freshness of light colours. Carved wooden pieces throughout the villa give its living spaces a distinctive character connected to the past.
From the colours and carvings on the old wooden door to the eight-pointed star and circular carved details, each piece stands out through its relationship with the stone surfaces. Complementary colours in the kitchen, bedrooms and shared living areas create a calm, coherent atmosphere.
Reflecting Atölye Aslan’s approach to woodworking and restoration, Villa Oasis is a warm, individual project that brings traditional details into contemporary living spaces.

SELJUK STAR
This wooden star, bearing the traces of its past, was personally restored by Fatih Ada in the Aslan office. Its natural grain, aged surface and layered geometry were preserved, creating a distinctive piece that complements the character of the space.
The eight-pointed star, often called the Seljuk star, is an established geometric motif used across Anatolian Seljuk art, from tiles to architectural decoration. Its symmetry and interlocking lines make it a striking example of traditional geometric design.
This restoration reflects Fatih Ada’s interest in wood and historic objects, brought into the Aslan office through patience and handwork.

ANTIQUE DOORS
Every old door carries traces of a life behind it. The colours acquired over time, hand-carved details and ironwork give each piece an identity of its own.
Atölye Aslan’s antique door collection brings together the craftsmanship of the past through different patterns, textures and construction techniques. Some retain their old paint, while others reveal the simplicity of the wood itself.
Our restoration approach focuses on preserving the individual character of each piece while giving it a new use. These doors continue their stories in new spaces, bringing warmth and character to their surroundings.
