Storage Design for Compact Villas: Making Better Use of Walls and Recesses

Start with What Needs to Be Stored
Storage design for a compact villa is not about placing a cabinet in every gap. Identify the items, users and frequency of access first. Luggage, cleaning supplies, kitchenware and decorative objects have different requirements. In a Kalkan rental villa, separating guest storage from operational supplies can simplify use. Villa Mia Vita's display recesses illustrate a wall becoming part of the furniture design.
Coordinate Measurements and Circulation
Choose depth with movement in mind, not capacity alone. Check doors, routes and nearby furniture against the measurements. An oversized unit can obstruct a narrow entrance. Existing recesses and projections may support better solutions when measured carefully. Open and closed storage can work together.
Materials and Access
Frequently used items need convenient access. Cleaning and hardware operation influence the selection. Discuss what display shelves will hold and assess fixing and loading appropriately. Plan any cabinet lighting before production. Seek a room-specific solution rather than repeating one standard size everywhere.
Information for Bespoke Cabinetry
For a property along the Muğla–Antalya route, send wall photographs, approximate dimensions and an item list. Discuss shelving, cabinetry and furniture together with Aslan Construction and Atölye Aslan. Final measurements are taken before production. Define finishes, hardware and installation in the quotation. The reference photo begins the conversation; your own use determines the design.
Explore the Project
The photographs illustrate work from our own project archive. Each property has different dimensions, conditions and priorities, so material and installation decisions need an individual review. Share photographs, a location and your requirements to begin a discussion.
