Villa Stair and Balustrade Design: Planning Movement Between Floors

Villa Stair and Balustrade Design: Planning Movement Between Floors
Photograph from the Aslan Construction project archive.

Consider the Stair as Part of the Building

Villa stair design involves more than choosing cladding or a balustrade style. Review movement between floors, furniture access and nearby doors. Retaining an existing stair and replacing it are different scopes. The Villa Oasis photograph shows timber and stone details around a circulation space. It is not a technical compliance certificate.

Measure the Existing Conditions

Record the stair condition, clear routes and connection points. Consider occupants' needs alongside the building. Balustrade choices should not be based on appearance alone. Relevant design and compliance assessments require an authorised specialist. This article does not specify universal dimensions or installation instructions.

Materials and Everyday Use

Review cleaning, wear and use against the actual product. Lighting and surfaces touched by hand are part of the design too. Changes such as cladding thickness can affect adjoining details. Replacing one element in an existing building may influence others. The quotation should describe removal, protection and finishing work.

Preparing a Project Enquiry

For a villa in Kaş, Fethiye or along the Muğla–Antalya route, share several views of the stair and describe known issues. Aslan Construction can discuss the intended design and installation scope. Final decisions follow measurements and necessary technical assessment. A decorative reference should lead to a site-specific solution rather than direct copying.

Explore the Project

The photographs illustrate work from our own project archive. Each property has different dimensions, conditions and priorities, so material and installation decisions need an individual review. Share photographs, a location and your requirements to begin a discussion.
