Villa Lighting Design from Muğla to Antalya: Layers of Light for Everyday Living

Begin with the Way the Room Is Used
Villa lighting design is more than selecting a central ceiling fitting. Reading, preparation, relaxation and circulation create different needs. In seasonally occupied homes in Kalkan, Kaş and Fethiye, visitors should be able to understand the controls easily. Establish the furniture layout and daily situations first. Decorative lighting then completes the plan.
General, Task and Accent Lighting
General light makes a room usable, while task lighting supports a particular activity. Timber textures, artwork and recesses can benefit from a separate accent. Discuss which layers should operate together or independently. Bedside access and reading habits matter too. Lighting every surface equally can reduce the room's sense of character.
Coordinate the Electrical Work
Switches, sockets and controls should be planned with the furniture. A qualified professional should assess the existing installation. Products for wet areas and outdoors need to suit the relevant conditions. Separate the decorative fittings from the electrical infrastructure in the quotation.
Review Samples and Everyday Operation
A product photograph cannot fully show the effect in the actual room. Compare timber, stone and wall finishes under the intended light where possible. At handover, the controls should be understandable. For villa renovation along the Muğla–Antalya route, share existing lighting photographs and room uses with Aslan Construction. Design and installation requirements can then be discussed together.
Explore the Project
The photographs illustrate work from our own project archive. Each property has different dimensions, conditions and priorities, so material and installation decisions need an individual review. Share photographs, a location and your requirements to begin a discussion.
