Creating a Coordinated Colour and Material Palette for a Villa

The Design Approach
At Villa Mia Vita, the coffee table, kitchen and dining table were developed with coordinated colours and materials. Combining stone details with wood gave this smaller project an individual character. It shows that effective interior design depends on considered decisions rather than the size of a property or the number of objects in it.
Planning the Details
Begin a colour scheme with fixed surfaces. Floors, stonework and large cabinetry are less easily changed than accessories. Furniture, textiles and paint can then respond to that foundation. Review warm and cool tones both in daylight and under evening lighting. The same colour may appear different on timber, fabric and a painted wall.
Applying the Idea to Your Property
A material board helps owners planning villa decoration in Kalkan compare real samples. Place wood, fabric, stone and paint together to assess their relationship. Adapt a reference image to the light, dimensions and practical needs of the room. Villa Mia Vita offers an example of how individual elements can share one clear design language.
Explore the Project
The photographs illustrate work from our own project archive. Each property has different dimensions, conditions and priorities, so material and installation decisions need an individual review. Share photographs, a location and your requirements to begin a discussion.
