Natural Stone and Wood in Kitchen Design: Inspiration from Villa Oasis

The Design Approach

Natural stone and wood can create a warm, balanced kitchen with an individual character. The stone surfaces and wooden details at Villa Oasis show how contrasting materials can complement one another. A coordinated palette does not require identical finishes everywhere; it relies on a considered relationship between colour, texture and light.

Planning the Details

Start a kitchen refurbishment by planning preparation, cooking, washing and storage areas. Check cupboard doors, appliance openings and circulation around an island on the measured layout. Compare timber samples with the actual stone and floor finish under the lighting that will be used. A small physical sample is often more useful than a catalogue image.

Applying the Idea to Your Property

Maintenance depends on the stone type and the timber finish. Water exposure, heat and cleaning habits should inform the specification. For a bespoke kitchen in Kalkan, cabinetry dimensions, accessible storage and lighting should be developed together. Villa Oasis provides a visual reference, while the final solution should respond to the conditions of your own property.

The photographs illustrate work from our own project archive. Each property has different dimensions, conditions and priorities, so material and installation decisions need an individual review. Share photographs, a location and your requirements to begin a discussion.
